RECREATIONAL POLICIES
Default Everest Policies
ALL PARENTS:
You are responsible for your child’s behavior and safety while in the waiting room.
Please do not leave any of your children unattended in the facility outside of their scheduled class, event, or camp.
For the safety of staff and students, parents are not permitted inside the gym during independent classes (except for Parent & Me classes). We will notify you if your presence is needed.
Please remain in designated viewing areas and avoid crowding in hallways and gym pathways.
For safety reasons, photography and videography are not permitted.
ILLNESSES:
Do not bring sick children or sick siblings to the gym.
If your child has had a fever, yellow or green nasal mucus, vomiting, or diarrhea in the past 24 hours, they should remain at home.
Children must be fever-free for 24 hours without the aid of medication before returning.
Your cooperation is appreciated by the Everest staff and your child’s classmates.
STUDENT DROP-OFF & PICK-UP:
Please arrive at least 5 minutes before the scheduled start time of your child’s class.
Parents must wait in the lobby with their child until they are called into the gym.
Students must be picked up promptly at the scheduled end time of their class.
Parents are required to enter the building for pick-up. Children will not be permitted to walk to the parking lot unattended.
Preschool-aged children: A parent or guardian must remain in the facility during class.
HOLIDAYS:
We do not follow the CMS calendar for holiday closings.
All closings will be posted on our website at www.everest-gymnastics.com.
INCLEMENT WEATHER:
We do not follow school system closings for inclement weather.
Please check our Facebook page, Twitter, or website at www.everest-gymnastics.com for updates.
INSURANCE:
All students must carry personal health insurance.
PROPER ATTIRE:
Acceptable attire:
One-piece leotards
Fitted t-shirts and athletic shorts
Oversized clothing that may block vision when inverted is not permitted.
Please avoid:
Leotards with attached skirts
Bare midriffs
Clothing with buttons, snaps, or zippers
Athletes must be barefoot during class, as socks pose a slipping hazard.
Exception: Tumbling classes may wear clean, indoor-only cheer shoes.
Hair must be secured away from the face. Long hair should be tied in a bun or similar secure style that prevents interference with vision during inverted skills.
If a ponytail touches the floor during a handstand, it must be put into a bun.
All jewelry (except stud earrings in ear lobes) must be removed before class.
Personal belongings should be left in a cubby or with a parent.
Please do not bring valuables into the gym—we are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Recreational Billing Policies
General Payment Policy
All fees are immediately posted to your account and are due at the time of enrollment.
Payment is required to secure your child’s spot.
We cannot process enrollment without payment.
All members must have a credit or debit card on file for automatic tuition payments.
Tuition
Tuition is paid in advance and will be billed on the 25th of the month prior to classes.
(Example: October tuition will be billed on September 25th.)Tuition will be charged automatically to the card on file.
If the card is declined and payment is not received by the 1st of the month, your child will be dropped from their class, and the spot may be offered to a waitlisted student.
You will receive an emailed receipt each month confirming charges.
Program Duration
Our recreational program runs on a monthly billing cycle from mid-August through early June.
You may choose to take a summer break or enroll in summer classes. However, class placement is not guaranteed for the fall if you break for summer.
Recreational Class Tuition Rates
$110.00/month – 50-55 minute classes
$150.00/month – 85 minute classes
Discounts
Sibling Discount
10% off tuition for the second child (applied to the lower tuition)
20% off tuition for each additional child (applied to the lowest tuition)
Multiple Class Discount
10% off the second class (applied to the lower tuition)
20% off each additional class (applied to the lowest tuition)
Only one discount may be applied per class.
Additional Fees
Registration Fees
All participants must be registered members of Everest Gymnastics Training Center.
Registration Fee + First Month’s Tuition must be paid at the time of enrollment.
This fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
Registration is billed annually upon Fall enrollment (July/August).
Annual Registration Fees:
Individual Student – $70.00
Family Membership – $110.00
Prorated fees apply to gymnasts who enroll after September.
Showcase Fee
All recreational athletes are automatically enrolled in the Everest Showcase.
A $75.00 fee includes event attire and an award.
This fee will be automatically charged to the card on file on February 25th, along with March tuition.
Late Fees & Penalties
Late Pick-Up Fees
Parents must be inside the building at the end of class to pick up their child.
Instructors cannot be responsible for waiting with students between classes.
If late pick-up becomes habitual:
A courtesy email will be sent as a reminder.
Future late pick-ups will incur a charge of $1.00 per minute, billed to your account.
Late Payment Fees
A $25.00 late fee will be applied for payments received after the 25th of the month.
Any outstanding tuition, late fees, or declined card fees must be paid before your child can participate in the following month’s classes.
Returned Checks
All returned checks are subject to a $50.00 returned check fee.
Credit Card Authorization
By submitting my credit card information through the secure online registration process, I authorize Everest Gymnastics Training Center, Inc. to:
Automatically charge my credit or debit card on file for the total amount due on my billing statement on a recurring monthly basis on the 25th of each month.
Process any registration fees, event fees, competition fees, and applicable summer camp charges to the card on file.
I understand that to withdraw from any program, I must provide a 30-day written notice. I am also aware that I am responsible for all tuition billed during this 30-day notice period.
Recreational Cancellation and Make-Up Policy
Dropping Classes
A 30-day written notice is required for withdrawal from any program.
Please notify the front office via email at billing@everest-gymnastics.com at least 30 days prior to your child’s final class.
You are responsible for all tuition charges accrued during the 30-day notice period.
Once your child has been dropped from a class, that spot may be filled by a student on the waitlist.
We cannot “hold” a spot in any class without tuition payment.
Refund Policy
No refunds will be given.
Any tuition adjustments will be made on a case-by-case basis and are at the discretion of Everest management.
All adjustments will be issued as account credits.
Account credits expire one year from the date of issue.
In the case of injury, we may place a one-month hold on your account with a signed doctor’s note.
All athletes returning from injury must email a doctor’s release to billing@everest-gymnastics.com prior to resuming class.
Missed Classes
Recreational class tuition is based on an annual rate, broken into monthly payments for convenience.
We do not charge extra for months with more than four classes, nor do we prorate for months with fewer classes due to scheduled closures (e.g., holidays).
If Everest cancels a class due to weather or special events, we will offer a scheduled make-up day and notify families via email.
Make-Up Classes
Please make every effort to attend your child’s regularly scheduled class.
If your child misses a class due to illness or injury, we offer a monthly Saturday make-up class.
Make-up classes:
Must be completed within the same month as the missed class.
Are subject to availability.
Must be scheduled in advance through your parent portal.
Due to student-teacher ratio requirements, make-ups are not guaranteed.
There will be no refunds or proration for missed classes.
Everest Showcase Performance
2026 Everest Recreational Showcase
Saturday and Sunday, June 6–7, 2026
At the conclusion of the school-year session, we will host our Everest Showcase Performance for all recreational gymnasts.
All recreational students are automatically enrolled in the end-of-season performance.
A $75.00 participation fee per student will be charged. This includes required performance attire (leotard, etc.).
All performance fees must be paid in advance.
This fee will be processed via auto-pay on February 25, 2026.
Showcase Schedule
Each gymnast will participate in one 45 minute time block over the course of the weekend.
Once the schedule is finalized, we will send out the exact date and time your athlete will perform.
We aim to release the full schedule by May 1, 2026.
Please note: Due to the timeline required to order event attire and awards, we are unable to accept late registrations for the Showcase.
